I had nothing but great feedback from the first batch of singles; hopefully, you’ll resonate with the next load too. These tracks will take me up until near Christmas, when I’ll be taking a mini-break to get fat and day drink without acknowledging my Irish blood penchant for alcohol. Again, huge thanks to DW Smith for the great artwork on all singles.

MISE EN GARDE: SEND THE GOONS (FEAT. DJ JAFFA)
Release date: 26th November 2021
I think this carries right off from the last Mise en Garde album, Marginal Protection, in regards to tone and aggression. Hard-hitting drums and a pretty dark sample. Just a very uncompromising track, in my opinion.
SWERVE (FEAT. FIRE TEAM ALPHA & DJ JABBATHAKUT)
Release date: 3rd December
Summer is well and truly over in the UK by now, but this may transport you back to when the big yellow ball shone brightly for the few hours a year that we get it. At least the North American contingent of Fire Team Alpha can do a summer track without any hint of irony. This is a pretty floaty track. It should put you in a good mood, at least.
FEARLESS (FEAT. EMPULS & COPYWRITE)
Release date: 10th December 2021
This is a heavy hitter!. Featuring 2 of my favourite emcees in Hip-Hop, period. Copywrite is an underground legend that I’ve been listening to for near on 2 decades. If you haven’t listened to the absolute underground classic “The High Exhaulted”, then remedy that right away. His work with The Weathermen (alongside the likes of El-P, Aesop Rock, Cage, Camu Tao (RIP), Vast Aire, Tame One, Breeze Brewin and more) and Mhz (with RJD2, Jakki Da Motamouth & Tage Future), solidify Copywrite as an absolute stalwart of underground Hip-Hop. Also, side note, his verse on Smut Peddlers “Anti Heroes” is a huge favourite of mine.
Not many emcees could live on a track with Copywrite, but one emcee who I’d put with absolutely ANYONE in Hip-Hop is Empuls. It may sound biassed, as I have a lot of music with Empuls, but seriously, the man is a machine. His work ethic is frightening, but it also comes with a guarantee of quality. He’s probably my favourite all-around emcee. Putting these two on a track together guaranteed me the “fiiiiyaaaaah” (MOP voice) I needed.
APPLIED SCIENCE: COME OWN
Release date: 17th December 2021
Applied Science. My first foray into actually making my own music, as in producing tracks myself, It’s been over 3 years since myself and Pun Ra brought anything out under the name. Although we have worked together on projects such as Mise en Garde and regularly collaborate on mutual interest projects such as Fire Team Alpha, it’s about time we get this shit rolling on another album, so this is a taster for you.
We are both huge fans of blues music, and that seeps heavily into a lot of what we do, and while the stuff we’ve been working on for the 3rd album definitely hits new territory, we still love bringing that Delta Blues/Hip-Hop fusion via Wales vibe.
